Consistency matters on every route.

Backing incidents usually happen at low speed—but they can still create major damage.

Use GOAL when needed, keep the setup simple, eliminate distractions, and never let pressure from other people rush the maneuver. Slow is controlled.

🚛 CVSA BRAKE SAFETY WEEK | AUGUST 23–29, 2026

At JRD Transportation, safety is part of every mile. During this year’s CVSA Brake Safety Week, inspectors will place special attention on brake drums and rotors — critical components for safe and reliable operation.

Before hitting the road, make sure to:
✅ Check brake drums
✅ Inspect rotors
✅ Verify brake adjustment
✅ Check air hoses & leaks
✅ Confirm ABS function

A few extra minutes during your pre-trip inspection can help prevent violations, unexpected downtime, and out-of-service orders.

🛡️ Stay compliant. Stay safe. Drive prepared.

Professional drivers don't chase time—they manage risk.

Driving within posted speed limits improves reaction time, reduces accident severity, and helps ensure every load reaches its destination safely.

🚛 Safe Speed. Smart Driver.

📵 Stay Focused. Stay Professional.

At JRD Transportation, safe driving requires full attention at all times. Distracted driving remains one of the leading causes of preventable accidents on our highways, and mobile phone use behind the wheel significantly increases that risk.

Professional drivers understand that safety begins with focus.

Before every trip, commit to:
✔️ Keeping your eyes on the road
✔️ Keeping both hands available for vehicle control
✔️ Avoiding calls, texts, and mobile device use while driving
✔️ Pulling over safely if communication is necessary

A moment of distraction can have lasting consequences. No message, notification, or phone call is more important than the safety of our drivers, our equipment, and the motoring public.

At JRD Transportation, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism—one mile at a time.

Drive responsibly. Stay attentive. Arrive safely.
