Nothing better than a Duramax hauling another Duramax. This weekend I loaded up a Chevy pickup in Smithfield, NC and headed north to New York, putting the MCU Transport rig to work.

Over 700 miles of highway, fuel stops, weigh stations, and plenty of windshield time. Just another day in the life of a one-truck hotshot operation building a business one load at a time.

Another week of chasing freight and keeping the wheels turning 🚛💨

Picked up a baler in Wilson, North Carolina headed to Campbell, New York, then grabbed an F150 out of Manheim, PA and hauled it down to Swansboro, NC.

Long miles, tight timing, truck stop sleep, reload hunting, and trying to make every trip count. This is what building a hot shot business from the ground up actually looks like.

This one took some old-school problem solving. We used my custom plank bridge system to transfer this 1,500 lb hot tub safely off the trailer, then rolled it across the yard using PVC pipes to pipe it right into place. No crane. No fancy equipment. Just leverage, teamwork, and experience moving heavy tubs into tight spots.

These are the kind of deliveries people never realize happen behind the scenes. Every backyard is different and sometimes you’ve gotta build the solution on the spot.

Watch us unload this massive hot tub by tipping it straight off the trailer onto our Teflon slider, then sliding it across the yard and under a custom-built gazebo for the final setup. Tight access jobs like this take more than brute force — it’s all about balance, leverage, teamwork, and years of experience moving heavy spas safely.

This one took some planning. We tipped the hot tub off the trailer onto the slider, piped and slid it across the yard, then used the portable winch to pull it up onto the deck. The biggest challenge was avoiding the swimming pool, so we rigged a sn**ch block to redirect the winch line and change the pull angle safely.

That’s the kind of stuff you don’t see in most delivery videos — every backyard is different and sometimes you’ve gotta engineer the move on the fly.

No cuts, no music, no shortcuts — just a real hot tub delivery from start to finish. We had to slide this heavy spa straight off the back of the trailer and carefully maneuver it into the customer’s garage without damaging anything.
