If you are making your way into the office today to pick up another load, please drive safely.
Good morning, everyone. No major changes to the forecast. Two rounds are likely, with round #2 being the focus. While I think this will still be a bumpy evening, we are very lucky round #1 is taking place. Parameters would be off the charts if we were seeing nonstop sunshine today. HOWEVER... let's stay on-guard for later today. But I wanted to share some good news with you. ๐
Round #2 arrives after 5p(ish) and sticks around through 9p(ish). This is where we'll want to be alert for severe weather, including damaging wind, hail and some tornadoes. The tornado threat is highest in areas along & south of US-6, but everyone will want to keep an eye on radar just in case. There is a lot of spin in the atmosphere.
It's a setup that is worth being weather-aware. This is not a slam dunk forecast. With that said, the ingredients are there for some nasty storms, so having a plan to action (lowest level of home, away from windows, etc) is the key, regardless of how it plays out. :)
