🚌 Service Update: January 2027 🚏
We’d like to clarify our upcoming service changes to ensure our riders have accurate information.

Beginning in January 2027, Licking County Transit’s Deviated Fixed Routes (DFR) will transition to Fixed Routes (FR). This means our buses will follow their designated routes without deviations for individual pickups or drop-offs.
Please note: Our demand response service, door-to-door transportation, will continue to be available.

This change only affects our fixed routes and is intended to increase reliability and consistency.

We remain committed to safely connecting our community to the places and services they depend on. Thank you for riding with Licking County Transit!

This change is another step forward in building a more consistent, reliable, and accessible transit system for our community. 💙💚

Ready to feel more confident with technology? Our next Digital Skills Hub technology training class starts on October 19 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM at 1058 East Main Street, Newark. Supported by AARP Ohio and offered in partnership with Columbus State Community College, ConnectUS Central Ohio, and the Licking County Foundation, this free training will help you feel more comfortable using your devices or get a little extra help with technology.

This class is a 5-day training, and participants must be present for all 5 classes from October 19-23. To sign up, visit lcap.org/digital-training. An LCAP team member will confirm your registration.

Licking County Health Department is partnering with Uber Health to make it easier for individuals to get to your medical appointments.

Eligible riders must:
✅Request ride 24 business hours in advance
✅Must have a mobile phone with texting capabilities
✅Must be located in Licking County
