NJ TRANSIT President & CEO Kris Kolluri was joined by Camden and Gloucester County officials, Via Vice President of Policy & Government Affairs Aparna Paladugu, and invited guests to celebrate the launch of CG Hopper, a new microtransit pilot program serving Camden and Gloucester counties.
Developed through a partnership among NJ TRANSIT, Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS), Camden County, and Gloucester County, CG Hopper launched as a free, on-demand shared-ride service operated by Via. Designed to improve mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities, the program provides convenient, accessible transportation throughout the service area while connecting riders to NJ TRANSIT's broader network.
The launch highlighted a shared commitment to expanding transportation options, improving accessibility, and helping residents travel more independently across county lines.
