Little story of the week :
Yesterday I got a call from a man in my Town who wants to start a business with a dump. Truck and an excavator , so I was asked what I would charge to haul it ( the Excavator)I stated $135 per hour ( most are charging $175 per hour ) my shop back to my shop , today he informed me he'll only pay x amount and informs me that I should take what he's willing to pay because a few dollars in my pocket is better than nothing ......
I'm not a brother , your not my sister and definitely not a friend so what makes anyone think I owe them anything , I'm not working and putting my time and wearing out my equipment to benefit anyone besides myself !
Who can go to the gas station , grocery store , a lawyer , the power company , mechanic, plumber , electrician , OR you snow plow person and tell them how much you'll pay ???
And to boot so as to help them start a business is it just me or is this crazy , and this is all after I spent 3 hours getting the equipment ready today to do this job ,
Seem like a grown adults would know the cost of business and the time put in before and after a job and all the unforseen expenses....but yet the Nerve of people , I'm looking forward to them going into business , most likely they won't be insured or take other short cuts , to do business properly it's costly and no one can stay in business paying out of there own pocket to work for the public !

Keep it in mind the next time you hire anyone to provide you a service !
