We were saddened to hear about the passing of one of our past employees, Kim Deyton. From what we've been told, Kim passed away from complications following a trucking accident he was involved in several weeks ago.

"Runaway" put in several years with us and it sounds like he wasn't any different in his time with Peterson as he was with us! Kim was an "Old School" driver through and through. He ran a VERY tight ship and you could always count on him to be where you asked him to be. He adored his family and we know his big personality will be missed by all.

Please keep his family and friends in your prayers in the coming days.

Daylen Buchanan 's services will be this Sunday at Mitchell High School in Ledger, NC. Receiving friends from 2-5 PM and the funeral immediately following.

There will be a truck convoy to es**rt the hearse to the high school. If you want to take a truck for this, you will need to be at the address below at 11:30. This is Old 226 that goes behind the old Burger King at Grassy Creek. You'll need to enter on the Coxes Creek side and we'll be lined up to go out on the Wal-Mart side. We will be running Daylen's truck first in line, so kindly leave room for it in the front of the line if you are there early. The hearse will be there at Noon and the procession will go on to the high school from there. There will be a parking lot specifically for trucks at the high school. The family has stated the more trucks, the merrier, so don't hesitate about bringing one!
