✔ Morning pickup/drop-off - (Mon- Fri, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.)
✔ Afternoon pickup/drop-off - (Mon- Fri, 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
✔ Evening pickup/drop-off - (Mon- Fri, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) We ensure our drivers have a safe driving record, undergo safety training procedures, and have proper certifications. Our drivers will guarantee that your child is always buckled in the appropriate seat and will not leave a drop-off location until your child has been safely received by a designated person. Our vehicles are equipped with the “Child Check-Mate System” which acts as an electronic reminder to drivers. This reminder helps ensure that all children have safely disembarked the vehicle upon completion of each run. Our transportation service is open to ALL students within the surrounding cities of North Lauderdale.

A Bus Operator is in charge of providing a safe transport for our passengers based on a schedule and route. Duties include helping passengers board the bus, learning the passengers route and planning around traffic during trips.

Duties of the Bus Operator position, includes but not limited to the following:

Transport children and other passengers to and from different locations.

Obey all traffic laws and speeding limits.

Ensure the safety of all passengers.

Assist passengers with getting on and off the bus as needed.

Discipline children as needed to maintain a safe environment.

Complete transportation log at each stop to ensure all passengers are accounted for.

Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route.

Maintain a clean, sanitized and mechanically sound bus at all times.

Attend safety and planning meetings as required.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have a clean driving record for the past three years.

Must be able to complete a background check.

Must have CPR and First Aid certification or willing to obtain.

Should be able to complete and pass Transportation training.

Should be able to complete driver's physical examination.

Have some experience with transporting passengers or making deliveries.

Must be able to follow routes and find locations.

Job Types: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

Overtime

COVID-19 considerations:
All passengers and bus operator are required to wear mask at all times during transport. Bus should be sanitized after each route.

Experience:

Driving: 3 years (Preferred)

Route/passenger driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required)

CPR and First Aid Certification (Preferred)
