Almost four years ago, I took a chance and started my own business, stepping away from the restaurant industry that had been such a big part of my life.
I will always love the restaurant business, and I definitely miss it — especially the people. Over the years, many of the people I worked with became much more than coworkers. Some became close friends, and some truly became family.
Today, I’m fortunate enough to run my own small transportation business. While it may be a completely different line of work, I’m still very much in the customer service industry — taking people from their homes to the airport, special events, appointments, or wherever their destination may be. Being able to serve people and hopefully make their day a little easier is something I take a lot of pride in.
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey, especially those from the restaurant industry who have stayed in my life and supported me along the way.
Owning a business has certainly been a learning experience. I know I’ve made mistakes along the way, and I’m sure there will always be lessons to learn. I will continue to work hard, improve, and do everything I can to provide the best service possible.
And to anyone I’ve crossed paths with over the years — whether through the restaurant business, my transportation company, or simply through friendship — my door is always open. Never hesitate to reach out.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, ridden with me, worked beside me, and become part of my extended family. It truly means more to me than you know.
