Ask us about your next ride. We've been family-owned since 1923, and three generations of Harringtons have helped Central NJ families and travelers get where they're going — weddings, proms, flights, you name it.

If you've ridden with us this year, we'd love two honest minutes of your time. Tell us what we did right (or what we can do better) — it helps your neighbors trust the ride, and it helps us keep improving.

Limousine Fact. Did you know that limousines were the first automobiles to boast air conditioning?

While Willis Carrier is credited with inventing air conditioning, in the early 1900s, the Packard Motor Car Company introduced the first production automobile air conditioner.
Limousines and custom luxury cars began adopting AC shortly afterward in the early 1940s.

The automotive air-conditioning unit was terribly expensive and inefficient, and it took up nearly half the trunk space in the limousine!

Thankfully, today's air conditioning units are much more affordable, compact, and effective.

Whether it's 80 or 100 outside, the inside of your car heats up very quickly. Consider what you have in your glove box or lying on your seats; they could bake, or worse, explode, like hand lotion or hand sanitizer. Less than an hour after filming this video, the portable thermometer we left inside the car reached 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Ouch, that's HOT!

Stay cool and safe, friends!

Did you know? The air conditioning in your car is rated to adjust the temperature inside from 10 to 30% of the temperature outside. When you're in your car, you can open your windows when you turn the AC on, and that will force the hot air out while conditioning the air to be cooler inside.
Luxury vehicles like stretch limousines, motor coaches, and buses take a much longer time to cool down. Please be patient with your chauffeur as they make your experience comfortable for you. Thank you for choosing HLS. We appreciate serving you.

As you travel, embrace different possibilities, opinions, religions, customs, and interests. Ask questions as you meet people in different places.

While you don’t have to agree with everyone, you may be surprised by what you’ll learn from the people you meet during your travels.

Keep in mind that people in different places may have lifestyles or customs that vary from your own.

Avoid passing judgment and practice empathy as you travel.
