Good Morning,

The Long Island Rail Road strike has been settled. Service will begin after 12 noon today.

If you need to get into work today, the Great Neck station has buses running to Main Street flushing where you can get the seven train.

Take the NICE system the N20G Bus, which is on the south side of the station

I would expect some delays this evening, coming home, but Service should be back running at full capacity tomorrow

Good Morning all.

Some people during the LIRR strike may not be able to work from home.

Get to the Great Neck rail road station, then take the NICE bus the N20G to Main Street Flushing. From there take the 7 Train at Main and Roosevelt Avenue to Grand Central Station.

I hope this helps some of you until the strike ends.

When I was a young boy of 12, I decided to make my Mom breakfast in bed for Mother’s Day. I made pancakes and instant coffee. It was probably the worst breakfast of all time!

I carried it upstairs and suprised my Mom with this hideous creation!

But my Mom was a lady of beauty, class and dignity! She ate every bit of it, and drank her coffee to the last drop with tears of joy on her face!

She was and is a magnificent soul my Mom!
