Let’s break this down real simple…
A few months ago:
Diesel was around $3.40 per gallon
➡️ 20-gallon tank = $68.00
Today:
Diesel is sitting at $5.99 per gallon
➡️ 20-gallon tank = $119.80
That’s a $51.80 increase… on ONE fill-up.
Now think about this from my side of the wheel…
At TEN-28 Towing & Recovery, we’re not filling up once a week — we’re filling up constantly to keep trucks on the road across the Seacoast.
That means:
• Hundreds more per week in fuel
• Thousands more per month just to operate
• And zero room for error
This isn’t just “higher gas prices”…
This is the difference between profit and survival for small businesses.
We don’t shut down.
We don’t stop answering the phone.
We don’t stop showing up when you’re stuck on the side of the road.
But make no mistake — this is what we’re up against.
So if you support small business, now’s the time to show it.
Because we’re out here paying the price… literally.
