Custer's Garage is seeking responsible and safety-minded School Van Drivers to transport students to and from school and related activities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a difference in their community.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport students along assigned routes

Ensure students are secure and follow safety procedures during transport

Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, and staff

Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to pass background checks and required clearances

Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused

Experience working with children preferred, but not required

Due to overnight freezing temperatures and anticipated difficult travel conditions, the Spring-Ford Area School District will open 2-hours late tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

AM KINDERGARTEN SESSION: 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. (arrival at 10:45 a.m.)
PM KINDERGARTEN SESSION: 1:55 - 3:40 p.m. (arrival at 1:45 p.m.)
GRADES 1-6: 11 a.m. start time, all students in grades 1-6 should report to school for an 11 a.m. start time.
GRADES 7 AND 8: 10:05 a.m. start time, all students in grades 7 and 8 should report to school for a 10:05 a.m. start time.
GRADES 9-12: 9:40 a.m. start time, all students in grades 9-12 should report to school for a 9:40 a.m. start time.
WMCTC STUDENTS: WMCTC will report two hours later than their usual time.
Breakfast will not be provided.

Due to the forecasted snow, the Spring-Ford Area School District will implement a Flexible Instruction Day tomorrow, Monday, January 6, 2025. All classes, grades K-12, will start at 9:40 a.m. and follow synchronous and asynchronous activities throughout the day from home. All evening activities will be cancelled or postponed.
