25 years ago today, the world as we knew it changed. We were attacked on our soil! Innocents lost their lives for the cause of some radical group who saw us as nothing but infidels.

We watched as the planes crashed into the towers, the Pentagon, and the Pennsylvania field. We watched in horror as ashes covered the streets and people ran for their lives, while the public servants (Police, Firemen) ran in to save lives.

We watched in disbelief as the aftermath unfolded and we had no idea what to do. Helpless, hurting and scared. What could all of this mean for our future?

We banded together! Regardless of race, religion, or creed! We banded together! Our neighbors were more than acquaintances. Our community was home for the first time in a long time! We banded together!

We were sucker punched, and we stood up! No one will ever be able to knock us down! We will always rise through the ashes, and we will always fight for our freedom! We fly high, we fly strong! We are America - the USA!

Regardless of politics, religion or gender….we are America - the USA!

Our history is that of citizens fighting for their rights. Our history is that of those beings who gave their lives for our freedoms. Our history shows that as a nation we can and will overcome the tierney that threatens our freedom!

So today, 9/11/2026, we remember all those souls who were lost 25 years ago. Today, we remember the heroes that reminded us we are proud to be an American, and always should be. Today we acknowledge that for all of our differences, being free is the one thing we all want!

In honor for all of the lives that were lost…

We remember!!!

Well it's Wednesday but given the recent passing of Hayden Pantiere, Dolly Parton and Tim Curry (true legends in their industries!) I feel the need to share this :

Never take for granted anything! Sunrises to sunsets. Never discount the beauty that life has to offer! Never shrug off a thought or feeling that you have. Be kind, be true, be you!

Don't leave this world saying, "I wish I would have...".

Leave this world saying, "I can't believe I did that!"

Live your life to the fullest, do the life you want to remember....If you are happy, those who truly love you are happy too!

Welcome to the "Why? Why would you do that?" Wednesday forum. I always joke about my stupidity....so I thought maybe it could bring a few smiles/laughs on HUMP day.

So my first "Why, Why would you do that?" goes out to me, Traci Boots, as many years ago I managed to get my thumb stuck in a hitch between a JD tractor and an anhydrus tank...the pin was off just a sliver, so for some ungodly reason, I stuck my thumb down the hitch to align everything, and about lost my thumb.

Thankfully my thumb is still intact and I learned a very, very valuable lesson…

“There are some places you should never stick your thumbs…”

Friday night's storm was a reminder of just how strong our little town is! Grateful for being a part of this community, blessed that it wasn't worse, and hopeful for what tomorrow may bring!!

Mr Joseph Nagel is celebrating his 75th birthday today!!

Can you believe it, the old man who is busier now than when he worked (Golfing, fishing, playing cards, farmng....) is 3/4 of a century old!

We love you Joe and hope today is a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday and here is to many many more!!

We here at Nagel Grain are committed to doing what we can to keep EVERYONE happy. That is reason i did not mentioning anything yesterday, that it was Tracy Nagel Paustian Birthday

So in trying to keep her happy i did not mention to anyone that yesterday, Wed
4/3 /24 was in fact her day Bday. Yes, that is correct. Yesterday my dear friend had a bIrthday and I didnt tell anyone that it was her birthday and she was turning 29......again!! But for some odd reason she is mad at me todau and i dont know why..so i think she needs some love sent her way.

I think we should all say "HOPE you had a great April 3rd!!l

Just remember Tracy you do luvs me and needs me...Hope you had a great April 3rd!! You deserve it!!
