We've posted a lot about Eagle Logistics.

Stats. Scorecards. Math nobody wanted to run. Trucks. Drivers.

Some of it was useful. Some of it was probably fun. All of it was true.

If you take one thing from all of it:

We're a family-owned freight company based in Purdy, Missouri. We move manufacturing loads in the Four States.

We've been doing it long enough to know exactly what bad freight looks like — and to have built a company specifically around not being part of it.

Our customers stay with us 8-11 years, because we stage before the dock opens, confirm before you ask, and treat every load like it carries our reputation — because it does.

99% on-time. 100% tender acceptance. 1 claim in 3.2 million miles.

If you're a manufacturer in the Four States and your current carrier has you reaching for the phone more than you should — we'd like to have a conversation. Not a sales call or anything... just a conversation.

That's the whole thing.

That's Eagle Logistics.

7 questions every manufacturing ops manager should be able to answer about their carrier:

What was their on-time delivery rate last quarter — in writing?

What is their tender acceptance ratio when capacity gets tight?

How do they define "on-time" — arrival at dock, or departure from origin?

What is their cargo claims ratio for the last 12 months?

What is their CSA driver score? (Public record. Lower is better).

How long is their average customer relationship?

When was the last time they called you before you called them?

If your carrier can answer all 7 with specific numbers — keep them.

If they can't answer 3 or more — those are the gaps costing you money. So you should call us.

Our answers: 99%, 100%, dock arrival, 0.0000003%, 1.6, 8-11 years, and yesterday.

Things manufacturing ops managers Google at 2 AM:

"average cost of manufacturing downtime per hour" "how to get out of a carrier contract early" "what is a good on-time delivery rate for trucking" "regional freight carrier Four States manufacturing" "Eagle Logistics Purdy Missouri"

That last one isn't a guess.

If you're searching — we're here.

Final score. Last quarter:

Eagle Logistics.........99. Industry Average........87.

For manufacturing ops managers: those 12 points are important.

They're the difference between a line that runs and a line that doesn't.

The clock resets at your next contract renewal.

Ops managers: what's the one metric you wish your carrier tracked and reported to you automatically every month?

Genuinely curious what you're not getting that you should be.

If you're running manufacturing freight in the Four States...

And need a carrier who knows your lanes, stages early, communicates before you ask, then we should talk.

Freight myth #1:

Bigger carriers have better capacity.

In theory, sure. In practice: a carrier with 10,000 trucks and a 65% tender acceptance rate is less reliable than a regional carrier with 100 trucks and 100% acceptance.

Capacity means nothing if they say no when you need them.

More of these myth busters are coming. Drop a myth in the comments you've been told that never quite felt right.

The industry average for how long a shipper keeps the same carrier: 1-2 years.

Ours: 8-11 years.

In freight, that number doesn't happen by accident.

It's honestly mythical but when you have the right carrier it just makes sense to stick around.

Your carrier's on-time rate means nothing if they track on-time differently than the way your production schedule does.

Ask them how they define it and the answer will tell you everything.
