Thank you to Andrea Kazantzis for allowing us to use her truck to transport food from Midwest Food Bank to Brooklyn Cares ❤️ Community Center. I would also like to thank designers of Vernon for the donation of hangers! We were in desperate need of hangers and we have received an amazing out pouring of Support. You all have provided us hangers that will last us for quite a while now, but we are so grateful to all of you who reached out and supported the clothing closet!
🧃 as noted in the past, our Midwest shopping day is one of the best days of the month. This is a tremendous organization who has almost 200 partner agencies, they provide food to they have a very limited paid staff and many volunteer volunteers! We share some of their fundraising opportunities on Facebook so if you ever have a reason to support a good cause, this is one!
💪 Once again, thank you to our volunteers who help unload the truck every month and Stock the shelves, rearrange the storage, rotate our stock and sort/fold/hang clothes! We have amazing people that want to help others at Brooklyn Cares ❤️ Community Center.
