Greater Glens Falls Transit operates public transit services to the Greater Glens Falls area, which includes the city of Glens Falls and portions of Queensbury, Kingsbury, Moreau, Fort Edward, South Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Lake George and Bolton. Since the system started in 1984 the service has carried over 10,000,000 riders. Summer trolleys run seven days per week from late June through Labor
Day. All GGFT services are wheelchair accessible, but it also operates a paratransit service called F.A.M.E. (Freedom And Mobility Express) for persons with significant mobility limitations that prevent them from being able to use regular, accessible buses. FAME services is available on an advance reservation basis and requires users to complete an application process. At this time, all occupants are still required to wear a mask while on-board buses.
