It is extremely important for Safeway to be different from their competitors in this very large industry. We expect our drivers to be clean, professional, and have a clear driving record. Safeway's drivers are required to have at least 2 years previous driving experience. They must carry a Class A or B CDL license with a Passenger Endorsement. Our drivers meet all USDOT requirements, which include physical, alcohol and drug testing, and hours of service regulations.
