River Falls Taxi LLC is shifting operations to a new name, West Central Wisconsin Taxi LLC.

A new Kia EV6 has been added to the fleet. This all electric vehicle will be our primary vehicle for longer runs, taking passengers up to our maximum service area of 150 miles from River Falls.

The options for pickups from MSP Airport Terminal 1 and 2 to Western Wisconsin will be coming this week.

Airport trips are $100 from River Falls to the airport, $111 from the airport to River Falls ($11 airport pickup fee included). The EV6 includes seating for up to 4 passengers and luggage space.

We are back from an airport run this morning and available for your transportation needs.

Special this morning is $10 trips for up to 4 passengers in the City of River Falls.

For longer trips our rate is $5 pickup and $3 per mile, with a minimum of $15. This rate includes up to 4 passengers.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Policy, short form. Long form is available upon request.

We do not take credit card numbers over the phone. Credit cards may be used by customers to pay taxicab fares in person using our Clover credit card machine or in our online reservation system.

River Falls Taxi LLC is an not expert in data security. Clover is our trusted service provider for card services and PCI compliance for in person card use. For online booking we use EverTransit software and card services.

We only take cards in person or in our online system and do not connect our Clover card reader to any other device.

We do not record card numbers or save any customer credit card data outside of our use of the Clover card payment services and the EverTransit booking software.

I'm experimenting with some ride booking software from EverTransit.

This should allow people to request rides for many areas outside of River Falls.

Requesting rides using the online system requires using a credit card and is subject to the cancellation fees in our advance reservation policy.

Minimum fare for areas distant from River Falls is higher than for fares in the immediate River Falls area and a long pickup charge is included in the online price.

The higher cost is reflective of actual costs in driver time and vehicle mileage to the requested pickup location and in returning the taxi to the River Falls area.

You may also use this system to request rides in River Falls. As always feel free to call or text 715-716-1341 with questions or to request rides.

For pickups outside of the immediate River Falls area prepayment is required. Venmo and PayPal can be used for prepayment if you do not wish to use a credit card in the online system. We do not take credit card numbers over the phone.

River Falls Taxi℠ Advance reservation policy:

Effective for advance reservations made after June 4 2023.

A deposit must be made for advance reservations in the amount of the quoted fare.

Cancelations up to 24 hours in advance of the requested pickup time will be charged 25% of the quoted fare (75% refunded).

Cancelations 24 hours to 1 hour in advance of the requested pickup time will be charged 50% of the quoted fare (50% refunded).

Cancellations less than one hour in advance, or if the rider does not show up at the pickup location within 10 minutes of requested time will be charged the full quoted fare (zero refund).

Cancellations may be made by phone or text to (715)716-1341.

We will wait at your pickup location up to ten minutes from your requested pickup time. If the rider is a no show the deposit is forfeited.

We block off our schedule before your pickup time so we can be at your pickup location on time.

The cancellation policy reflects the costs of lost opportunity to serve other riders, our drivers time, and vehicle costs inherent in going to your pickup location.
