02/01/2026
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this Winter Weather Event.
We understand everyone wants their trash picked up, and we want to get everyone caught up on service safely!
🗓️SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK:
(FEBRUARY 02-06, 2026)
We will attempt (no guarantees) to pick up all Residential Routes as scheduled this week, however, please note the following:
1) Nothing will be “normal” about this week’s pick-ups as the temperatures will be slightly above or below freezing.
Routes that normally take 8 hours will take 10 to 12 hours for us to complete safely. Please have your cans placed out the night before to ensure pickups as the drivers will be starting earlier to get routes completed before landfill closing time.
2) The snow is now solid ice – SAFETY of our drivers and our equipment is priority! Some areas around our service area were cleared better than others. We cannot climb snow/ice banks, drag containers over ice, or back up driveways that are ice covered, safety has to come first for our employees, equipment, and our customers.
🏡DRIVEWAY and PRIVATE ROAD CUSTOMERS:
WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS EVERY DRIVEWAY and PRIVATE ROAD THIS WEEK:
the risk of property damage, equipment damage, and injury is still high with icey conditions. If you can safely bring your trash cans to the end of your driveway please do so for this week’s pick-up. If it is not safe to move your trash cans to the end of your driveway please notify me via text to discuss options for pickup.
Note to our elderly and/or special needs customers, we will work with you to access your trash. Please reach us via text for options.
đź“«CURBSIDE CUSTOMERS:
If you can safely bring your trash cans to the end of your driveway please do so for this week’s pick-up. If it is not safe to move your trash cans to the end of your driveway please notify me via text to discuss options for pickup.
⚠️EXTRA TRASH:
We will accommodate the extra Household Trash from service being suspended last week without charge. ( example 1 can would allow for 1 extra can of trash, and so on)
If you have been purging items (since we have all been stuck in the house) and you have extra items for disposal; you must schedule a special pick-up. Please work with us to dispose of the Household Trash ONLY from last week and this week. Once we are back to a normal schedule you can purge those unwanted items by scheduling a special pick-up with us!
OVERALL SAFETY:
Drivers will use their discretion when evaluating roadways and safe areas to stop, get out, and load the trucks. Roadways, Driveways, Neighborhoods, Private Roads, and Stops that are still iced over will be case by case discretion of the driver. Keep in mind we deal with reckless drivers in normal driving condition daily, and most drivers on a good day do not allow us even a minutes to do our job safely. Motorist will squeeze next to our trucks, or simply accelerate around us with little regard for our drivers safety. I want our drivers, and myself to return home to our families uninjured each night. If we must skip your stop this week – we will document, and allow extra pickup when we can service safely. This will mainly affect our customers who require doorside service, live on private roads, and still have iced over roads.
Communication this week:
I will be on the road working with the drivers so please limit phone calls to me if possible. If you need to reach out, please feel free to message me via text, and i will respond once in a safe spot to answer.
Thank you all, and we appreciate the support from everyone.
Stay safe everyone!
