Schill Trucking was started in 1925 by Anton Schill (Larry's Grandfather). Anton purchased a Model T truck to haul livestock from St Augusta to the stockyards in South St Paul. Anton's sons, Leonard and Ray (Larry's Father) assisted with the business.
In 1947, Ray took over the business. In 1948, Ray's son, Myron (Gary's Father) started trucking with Ray.
In 1965, Myron and his brother, Kenny, took over Schill Trucking. In 1971, Larry bought a share of the business. Schill Trucking quit hauling livestock in 1980.
Larry became the sole owner in 1991. He continues to serve as the CEO.
Gary started working at Schill Trucking in 1982 as a mechanic and driver. Today, Gary serves as the operations manager.
