Thank you Long Island Press for sharing our public safety alert for Long Islanders and visitors attending the U.S. Open Golf Championship at Shinnecock Hills through this Sunday, June 21.

Azure Limousine & Transportation owner and LILA president Tom Gouldsbury, and Dynasty Limousine owner and LILA Vice President Charles Gandolfo were quoted in the article, urging golf fans to hire professional transportation services. They suggest that riders ask that their drivers provide their insurance, credentials, and a valid driver’s license.

Tom said “Whether you are traveling with family, friends, clients or colleagues, choosing a licensed transportation provider is one of the most important decisions you can make. We want everyone attending the U.S. Open to enjoy a world-class golf event, create lasting memories and, most importantly, get home safely.”

Charlie added “Ask to see the vehicles TLC, New York State Department of Transportation, or local operating authority certification. A legitimate operator will have no problem providing proof that they are properly licensed and authorized to transport passengers.”

The Long Island Limousine Association was well represented at the HIA-LI 38th Annual Trade Show as its President Tom Gouldsbury, also owner of Azure Limousine & Transportation, was on-site to showcase their company’s services and share the importance of choosing licensed transportation operators for safe and reliable travel. Attendees experienced that commitment firsthand as Azure and Friendly Transportation provided valet and shuttle services throughout the event, helping guests navigate Suffolk County Community College’s Brentwood campus with ease.
