🕐 The first 2 hours are FREE
💵 After that: $25/hour (after the first full hour)
📌 This is industry standard
👉 If you want to get paid for detention, you MUST do your part:
📝 Write your IN & OUT times on the
BOL (Shipper) or POD (Receiver)
✍️ Get a legible printed name + date
📲 Stay in contact with dispatch as you approach detention
So we can push the broker and protect your time
⚠️ Leaving early = abandoning the load
That’s a contract violation and can lead to termination
💡 Sometimes you will have to wait — it’s part of the game.
