California Lyft Drivers Community Do you drive for Lyft or Uber? Do you think they don't respect you? Then, lets do something about it!

They give you way less value, pay you only about 30% of the fair charged on the customer and warn you frequently as they desire?

Thank your driver for the service. Because he/she is the one that gives you the ride, text you where you want to go while 70% of the money you pay goes to Lyft, the corporate.

Just so you know that driver's income is equivalent to minimum wage employment. Lyft and Uber are cruel!

Usually passengers hate drivers for the high rates of rides because they think big portion of that is going to the driver. But, they don't realize that is not the case. Now they even take 70-80% depending on weather they charged the passenger the surge price which goes 100% to Lyft.

Now Lyft is trying to fool drivers by urging them to take action against the ongoing fair AB-5 (Driver should be employee rather than so called Independent Contractor) lawsuit. They try to Sugar coat their evil platform and intrest by telling drivers to fight for their Freedom/Flexibility. But every wise driver and passanger knowes why Lyft and Uber does not like that. it is because if AB-5 passes and becomes a law, Drivers will turn into their employees and they will have fair and greater labor protection.
In shifting to employee status, companies would have to offer basic worker protections such as guaranteed minimum wage, overtime pay, contributions to Social Security and Medicare, unemployment and disability insurance as well as workers’ compensation, sick leave and family leave. Workers could also get reimbursed for mileage and maintenance of their vehicles, which doesn’t happen now.

Drivers! Have you been paying attention how much Lyft and Uber has been cutting of fair what passanger pays? About 50%! Who does the actual work?

Many drivers are thrown out not because of quality of their service to the passengers, but mainly because of not acting like a slave to the corporate.

We want to provide best passanger experience; what we don't want is to be abused by the company as a disposable means! We want to be valued. We want our passengers whom with we share our personal space to understand that how they are treated is not how the driver is treated who is doing the actual thing on the ground. Now are you OKAY with Lyft or Uber to use your driver as a mere means towards their profit?!

Lyft Drivers, despite the kind of awesome service you provide to the riders, don't you think you are being used just as instrument by Lyft and that they make you do things that are totally not in your interest, but rather only in their interest?

Dear Lyft and Uber drivers! this page is created to come together and make the Driver-Rider experience one of the best and defend our right and raise our voice for the ones that are abused by the corporate; deactivating accounts over lousy reasons and fake feedback. We don't want to be warned everyday and harassed by Lyft and Uber. so come here and join,
This is just a start, lets make this page bigger, more important and strong so when it raises it's voice for an abused driver or passenger, it would really matter to those just setting behind the desk and judges drivers blindly and make a difference.
