For Joseph Goncalves, working on Muni’s streetcar fleet is personal. A San Francisco native who grew up riding these vehicles, he now helps maintain them — including a handful of vintage streetcars not typically seen in service. 🚲 With Safe School Connections, our goal is to connect all K-12 schools to the city’s All Ages and Abilities Biking and Rolling network. This builds on years of work we’ve done to make school trips safer and easier.

🤝 Right now, 15% of schools are connected to the network. Together with communities, we plan to identify and build more connections. You can learn more in our blog (link in bio)!
