Key points to know:
➡️35 will still make the connection with Glen Park BART Station
➡️36 skipping stops on Myra Way
➡️37 skipping stops near Buena Vista Park
➡️39 skipping stops along Union Street and will not service Coit Tower
➡️56 skipping stops on Wilde, Delta & Raymond

For some seniors and people with disabilities, walking farther to the nearest stop or paying for other transportation isn’t possible. HeadsUp: We’re conducting preventative maintenance service on our 30-foot bus fleet. In addition to the 36 Teresita and 37 Corbett, the 35 Eureka, 39 Coit, and 56 Rutland routes will not have 30-ft buses available for service starting tomorrow.

We will be reassigning 40-foot coaches to serve these routes. We are currently working on a revised service plan for each route. Once finalized, we will share that information. Expect that some stops on each route will be skipped.

ATTN: A non-safety maintenance issue is affecting the availability of 30-foot hybrid electric Muni buses that run on our hilly community routes. This issue affects our ability to deliver regular service on the 37 Corbett. We apologize for this inconvenience. The SFMTA’s Fleet Maintenance team is working on both immediate, short- and long-term solutions.

Currently, the 36 Teresita and 37 Corbett may have a temporary reroute when service is provided by 40-foot buses. The longer buses are unable to serve Myra Way on the 36 Teresita or Buena Vista Avenue, Buena Vista Terrace, Upper Terrace, and Park Hill Avenue on the 37 Corbett. Expect longer waits and inconsistent service at these stops. Refer to service alerts for real time information.

The 37 Corbett route will continue to serve the area using Roosevelt Way in both directions. We also will be adding a temporary inbound stop on Roosevelt Way at Park Hill Avenue. This stop serves customers who usually alight on one of the eliminated segments.

Effective Monday, June 22, the 37 Corbett will have a temporary reroute and service will be provided by 40-foot buses. These longer buses are unable to safely navigate some of the most narrow and windy streets on the route: Buena Vista Avenue, Buena Vista Terrace, Upper Terrace, and Park Hill Avenue.

The route will continue to serve the area using Roosevelt Way in both directions. We also will be adding a temporary inbound stop on Roosevelt Way at Park Hill Avenue. This stop serves customers who usually alight on one of the eliminated segments.

We expect this temporary reroute to be in place for the next few weeks until a short-term solution that avoids service impacts could be put in place. Until then, we will continue to monitor service and make adjustments to the temporary reroute as needed. We expect to have a long-term solution in the next 12 – 18 months.
