VETERANS SHUTTLE We are proud to offer transportation for veterans in SLO County from their homes to local veteran’s clinics. This service provides veterans with disabilities, or veterans who have no means of transportation, door-to-door service to the SLO or Santa Maria veteran’s clinics. The cost is $3.00 each way and is subsidized by contributions from the community and Ride-On. Rides are limited to once a month due to current funding levels. SENIOR SHUTTLE
We are dedicated to providing affordable transportation services for seniors 65 years and over. The Senior Shuttles serve different parts of San Luis Obispo County on specific days of the week. Advanced reservations are recommended. Ride-On Senior Shuttle operation, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm:

North County: Monday and Wednesday anywhere in the North County to SLO. North Coast: Monday and Wednesday anywhere between Cambria and SLO. San Luis Obispo: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday within the city of San Luis Obispo:
Five Cities Area: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the areas of Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Oceano. South County: Tuesday and Thursday anywhere between Nipomo and San Luis Obispo. THANK YOU FOR USING AND SUPPORT RIDE-ON TRANSPORTATION !!

Did you hear SLOCOG staff is recommending cutting Senior Go from 4 rides a month to 2 rides a month?
They selected Ventura Transit Service (VTS) over Ride-On and will vote at the SLOCOG meeting on Wednesday, February 5th at 9am.
Ride-On’s bid would keep the service whole at 4 rides per month for $13,000 more, well below the financial cap of the program.
Please contact your SLOCOG representative and ask them to maintain the current level of service and choose Ride-On for Senior Go.

San Luis Obispo based company is in need of drivers for North (Atascadero/Paso Robles) San Luis Obispo County and South County (SLO, 5 Cities, Los Osos) openings.

Requirements:
• CA Commercial Class B Driver’s License
• Passenger Endorsement
• Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Good Communication Skills
• Clean driving record
• DMV H-6 report (current in the last 30 days)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Passion for helping others

Experience in transporting passengers is a plus, but not required. Ride-On Transportation will pay you while you train!

Driver Duties:
• will be assisting riders with developmental disabilities, seniors, and veterans.
• must keep accurate records of their vehicle inspections and route activities.
• need to be responsible and punctual; and be pleasant, patient, and courteous with our riders.

Benefits:
• Opportunity for a wage increase after a 3 month evaluation. Evaluation and opportunity for a raise every twelve months thereafter.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Ride-On Transportation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving transportation services in San Luis Obispo County, CA. Started in 1993, Ride-On is comprised of the Consolidated Transportation Service Agency (CTSA) and the Transportation Management Association (TMA) for our county.
