Spotted: Two Downtown-Waterfront Shuttles meeting in their natural habitat.

Scientists once believed these creatures were solitary.

They were wrong.

During Shuttle Summer, shuttles gather near the Waterfront where conditions are ideal: plentiful tourists, abundant beach chairs, and a near-constant supply of visitors discovering that a valid Zoo Pass or Zoo admission ticket unlocks shuttle rides at no additional cost.

Remarkably, many humans respond to this discovery by immediately telling everyone they know.

Notice how the pair maintain eye contact from a safe distance.

This is a sign of mutual respect.

Or confusion.

The scientific community remains divided.

🩺 **Bus Doctor Rounds**

Here we observe one of MTD's highly skilled Bus Doctors performing a routine wellness check on a patient.

Symptoms reported:
• Excessive mileage
• Chronic route-running
• Repeated exposure to potholes
• Mild beach sand inhalation
• Carrying the weight of everyone else's poor parking decisions

After a thorough examination, the prognosis is excellent.

The patient has been prescribed:
✅ Fresh fluids
✅ Preventive maintenance
✅ A full day of carrying passengers around town

Expected recovery time: approximately 15 minutes.

Another successful operation.

The ballots have been counted, and we're excited to announce the winners of our 12th Annual Youth Art Poster Contest! 🎨🚌

This spring, students in grades 1–6 were invited to showcase their creativity through this year's theme, 🐙"Ocean Buses."🐙 We were thrilled to receive nearly 🤩200 entries🤩, making this our biggest contest yet! MTD employees had the difficult task of voting on an incredible collection of artwork from talented young artists across the community.

We're also excited to once again partner with MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation. Not only will the winning artwork be displayed inside MTD buses over the next year, but it will also be featured in a summertime exhibit at MOXI alongside 18 additional selected entries. The exhibit is scheduled to open in late June.
