Parade season is here at the Portland Rose Festival and some of the city’s most beloved traditions are just around the corner.

The Portland Rose Festival Junior Parade returns May 30, 12–2 pm, bringing families, floats and local spirit to the streets. Then on June 6, the Grand Floral Starlight Parade lights up the evening from 6:30–10:30 pm with illuminated floats and dazzling lights everywhere.

Take Amtrak Cascades into Portland and be part of the celebration. It’s one of the best ways to experience the energy of the Rose Festival and kick off summer in the city.

Please join us in welcoming the first new Amtrak Cascades trainset to Seattle! Four of our eight trainsets have now left the factory in California. Three of them are completing testing on the east coast. We are so excited to start carrying YOU this autumn when we have three trainsets here which have completed testing on our corridor, and onboard crews and mechanical staff have all completed training. 💚🤎🤍
