Happy Friday from N257MC!

While many of us are counting down to cookouts, camping trips, and a little extra sleep, the Smokejumpers are suiting up and heading to work.

Here's a look at another jump out of 257MC, carrying some incredibly dedicated men and women to the front lines of wildfire response. It's not your average commute, and we're always honored to play a small part in getting them where they need to be.

As we head into the weekend, we'd like to wish all Smokejumpers, flight crews, firefighters, and support personnel a safe mission, safe landing, and safe return home. Your courage, professionalism, and teamwork do not go unnoticed.

Now grab your favorite beverage, turn up the volume, and enjoy the view from one of the coolest offices in the world.



Some people spend their weekends on the couch. Others jump out of perfectly good airplanes. We think that's pretty awesome.

As wildfire season begins, some missions have launched, ready to support smokejumpers across Alaska and the Lower 48.

These aircraft help deliver highly trained smokejumpers to remote areas where they’re needed most, before fires can grow larger and more dangerous.
