Surf's Up Shuttle Service We do things a little different - same competitive rates, but truly local. And drivers keep the MAJO Background checks done on all drivers. That's pretty cool!

Surf's Up takes your travel needs seriously and carefully chooses drivers with the personality and character that meshes with our culture. By being selective, we can ensure we retain only the best drivers for your travel needs. The success of Surf's Up is shared with all of our drivers. Because we value the importance of our individual drivers, our drivers are given on average 27%-100% MORE of the

fare than Uber and Lyft. You don't pay any more than our competitor, but we SHARE MORE with our drivers. For a full-time driver, that seemingly subtle change can equate to an additional $100-200 compared to a week of rides on the competition. That's a monthly car payment, maintenance, insurance AND "fun-money" left over. Launched in November 2020, Surf's Up is focused on giving local clients great service without having to use a global, non-local company. Based in San Marcos, focusing on Texas State University (go Bobcats!), Amazon and the Square, we are rapidly expanding from New Braunfels north to Austin and all points in between. And coming Spring Break 2022 - South Padre Island! Keep On Rollin', Baby!

Y'all be careful - don't drive if you don't have to. But, if you must get out, here's a couple tips. What tips do YOU have?

β€’ Do EVERYTHING slowly.
β€’ Slow braking.
β€’ Slow acceleration.
β€’ S-L-O-W directional changes
β€’ If the road is "raised", assume it's icy
β€’ Increase your following distances
β€’ Like, at least triple your "normal"
