Wilcox Truck Line is hiring full time, part time and weekend tractor-trailer drivers, paid by the HOUR and HOME DAILY!!
Local area positions. Day and Night Runs available.
Wilcox Truck Line is a mail contractor with the United States Postal Service. Wilcox has partnered with the Postal Service for over 51 years with several postal contracts throughout the Midwest. We are expanding our operations in the Kansas City and surrounding area with work starting August 2019. We have 40 to 50 new full and part time driving positions available starting this month.
We are hiring full and part time tractor trailer drivers for our Kansas/KC area operation. You are HOME DAILY!! No layovers. We deliver within a 300 mile radius of Gardner, KS. MAJORITY DAY TIME RUNS. Trips would include Des Moines, IA, Urbandale, IA, Omaha, NE, and Tipton , IA. No loading or unloading required. Pay rate is $27.24 per hour. That is $22.13 per hour base pay, plus $5.11 fringe pay per hour, for all hours worked, up to 40 hours per week. $27.24 total per hour.
We also have weekend work available for Saturday or Sunday.
Applicants need to have a minimum of two years' experience within the last five years with a tractor trailer, a good MVR and verifiable work history. Applicants need to be comfortable and willing to drive in adverse weather conditions.
The combined rate of pay is $27.24 per hour!! Pay rate of $22.13 per hour, PLUS an ADDITIONAL $5.11 per hour in fringe benefit pay. The fringe benefit wage is paid to you for each hour that you work, up to 80 hours a pay period.
We pay every two weeks by direct deposit.
We also offer annual vacation time and 10 paid postal holidays each year!

Get paid by the hour - $25.62 per hour!!

We are hiring a tractor trailer driver for trips from Thayer to Memphis, TN and Thayer to Des Moines, IA. The position would include both routes. Applicants must have a minimum of two years tractor trailer experience within the last five years, a good MVR, and good work history. Wilcox operates seven days a week, including holidays. Driver applicants need to be comfortable and willing to drive in adverse weather conditions.

The rate of pay is $20.51 per hour PLUS an additional $5.11 per hour in fringe benefit pay. We pay the fringe benefit pay for each hour worked, up to 80 hours a pay cycle. The combined wage is $25.62 per hour! We also offer annual vacation time and 10 paid holidays per year.

A 401(k) plan is open and available to all employees. Wilcox also offer these select benefits based upon eligibility requirements: Health, dental, vision, life, cancer and accident policies are available.

With the higher wages per hour ($25.62) it is like working full time but with less time away from home. The position is part time with an estimated 102 hours per month. The great wages ($25.62!) do help make up any ‘downfall’ of not being full time.

102 hours x $25.62 = $2613.24 versus 160 hours x $15.00 = $2400.00
