City 101 joins SST for an afternoon of fun with buses. Ever wonder how easy it is to drive one of those things? How many miles in a loop? Or, how much we drive? The answers are all here.
We Drive approximately 675,000 Miles per hear.
We carry around 1.1 million passengers per year.
A given bus drives back and forth across town for up to 268 miles every day.
A loop of the summer Main Line route is 21 miles.
Any given stop is served up to 77 times per day.

Did you see 1003 leave town? It's going off for a face lift and will come back feeling like a brand-new bus.
Join us on Monday to observe Memorial Day. You can park at the Stockbridge and we will drive you to the cemetery. Buses begin loading at 9:30 a.m. and will run continuously until 10:30 a.m. The buses are all ADA accessible with wheelchair ramps and securements. Join us and honor those who gave everything.

SST will be offering buses from the Stockbridge to the cemetery on the morning of Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day services.

SST drivers lament a coworker's plight in the photo below.
The following are a few tips on how to make your ride go more smoothly.
1. Learn the scheduled time for your stop. You can find it here: https://steamboatsprings.net/876/Summer-Schedule-Routes
2. Arrive at the bus stop a minute or so before the scheduled departure time.
3. Allow other passengers to alight before your board the bus.
4. listen and watch for your stop and pull the stop-request cord before the bus arrives at the stop to let the driver know that you want to get off.
