We’re looking to hire a regional flatbed CDL-A driver in the next couple weeks. This position is for a w-2 company driver only.

Compensation:
-Hourly pay. Overtime over 40 double time on Sunday.
-Company paid medical dental and vision insurance. (BCBS)
-Company match led 401k.
-Paid holidays.
-Paid vacations after 1 year of employment.

Requirements:
-Must be 23 years old.
-CDL-A and valid medical card.
-Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
-Must be willing to stay out. (You will get some home-time throughout the week and take your 34 hour restart at home on the weekend)
-Must have a minimum of 2 years tractor-trailer experience. (Flatbed experience is a plus but will trail the right person)
-MUST show up on time.
-Must be motivated and punctual, all while being safe.
-Must be able to chain, strap, and secure loads safely.
-Must live relatively close to either yard. (Sterling Heights 14 and mound or Ray Township 29 and North Ave)
The truck will be either a Peterbilt 379 or a Kenworth W900. There’s no slip-seating, the truck you’re assigned to will be the truck you drive unless yours is getting work done.

The workload is consistent, year round work. We mainly run Michigan and the midwest. The trailers are flatbed, stepdeck, and multi-axle curtainside trailers. As well as a few open trailer for the occasional over dimensional load. Machinery, dies, tooling, aluminum and steel is the majority of what we haul.
