Steubenville City Schools Earns National PLTW Distinguished District Recognition for Excellence in Career-Connected Learning

🔬Steubenville City Schools has been named a 2025–26 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished District, recognizing its districtwide commitment to expanding STEM access, engagement, and achievement. This marks the first time the district has earned the honor, highlighting its strong K–12 focus on career-connected, hands-on learning that prepares students for future success.
🚀All four elementary schools, Harding Middle School, and Steubenville High School contributed to the recognition through PLTW Launch, Gateway, and high school engineering and STEM pathways. Across the district, students participate in engaging, real-world learning experiences in engineering, aerospace, biomedical science, cybersecurity, computer science, and environmental sustainability, building critical thinking, creativity, and career-ready skills.
The recognition reflects Steubenville City Schools’ continued effort to strengthen a seamless K–12 STEM pipeline that connects classroom learning to college, careers, and emerging industry opportunities.
