With the start of a new year comes a moment to pause, reflect and in this case celebrate.
As 2026 begins, we are excited to announce our 100 year anniversary. It is an honor to share a message from our President about the people, partnerships, and purpose that have driven Antonini Enterprises.
"As we prepare to celebrate our Centennial, we feel it is important to recognize those that have enabled us to achieve such a lofty accomplishment.
First of all, our grandfather Virgilio Antonini and his wife Rose. Their entrepreneurship to start a trucking operation in Stockton in 1926 was a bold move. They serviced local farmers by picking up and consolidating their produce and then transporting it via truck to the San Francisco Market. Our grandfather would drive at night through the islands between Stockton and Oakland, catch a ferry and deliver the produce to the Market. This allowed local farmers to sell their goods to consumers daily.
Our father, Rudy and his two brothers, Jack and Louie were next in line to run the family business and they set the stage for growth and future expansion of the business. Their vision to work with canneries in both the tomato and fruit industries are still the backbone of our companies today.
Our vendors have played a key role in our business. It is with these partnerships that we have been able to continue thriving in the industry despite the many headwinds we face year in and year out.
Our customers, many of which we have had for several decades, continue to rely on our services to produce results that allow them to be successful in their businesses today.
Finally, our employees are the real reason we are here today, 100 years after inception. It is because of their dedication and expertise that we are here to continue servicing our customers’ needs each and every day.
It is with heartfelt thanks to all who have played a key role in allowing Antonini to be in business for 100 years, we appreciate your support and we look forward to continuing to service our customers for many years to come."
