Gulf Coast Transit District is proud to announce the launch of the Coastal Connect Shuttle.

The Coastal Connect Shuttle will provide a new connection between El Dorado Park and Ride, Houston METRO, and Gulf Coast Transit District services, creating a more convenient travel option for riders traveling between the Houston area and Galveston County.

This new shuttle connection will allow riders to travel from El Dorado Park and Ride to Galveston Island, helping improve access to employment, education, medical appointments, and other essential destinations throughout the region.

The goal of the Coastal Connect Shuttle is to strengthen regional mobility, support better job opportunities, and help close transportation gaps for riders who depend on safe, reliable, and affordable public transportation.

GCTD is excited to continue building connections that better serve our communities and expand access across the Gulf Coast region.
