We took a few groups to this event last year! This year, they came to us!! Seniors come on out to KBCC for this fun & informative event!

The July calendar is complete!

Sign-ups will be set out on Thursday and you must still sign up in person at KBCC. If you are not able to come in, please have a friend sign you up.

Please note, some dates for the tours are in Spanish to accommodate our increasing group of Spanish speaking participants! Please look closely at the sign-ups to make sure you are in the group with the correct language!

Any pre-payment for these trips will begin on July 1st, and will be noted on the itinerary page & sign-up sheet.

Different day, different group, different bee keeper. Same wonderful experience at Beeweaver Honey Farm! This time, instead of hanging out with a male drone bee, we had a small group of the workers who are all female. They showed no interest in us, but we were fascinated by them! The humming sound was so neat. We also got a second serenade accompanied by a cute little harmonica player while eating wonderful BBQ at Hill Country BBQ! Group 3 is eagerly awaiting their turn on July 10th! Yes, we stopped at Buc-ee's on the way out and back!

GUESS WHAT?? We’ve gone 10,000 on the Golden GoBus!!! Miles and miles of fun and adventures! 🥰 While FIFA World Cup is in town, some changes must happen. We still have BeeWeaver on June 17th. All other June outings will be rescheduled for August. July is being completely reworked, and another BeeWeaver trip is planned for July 10th if there are enough participants. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Here’s to many more miles!!

So many fascinating facts learned today at Beeweaver Honey Farm! What a fantastic way to spend the day! Honey tasting, candle making and learning about bees! Huge shout out to the owner of Hill Country BBQ in Hempstead! Another great meal, and even better atmosphere. The group got an impromptu concert! I am so excited that I get to do this 2 more times!

Thank you again, TMR Rescue for accommodating our Golden Go Bus groups! Today was another great day, loads of laughs & loving on the animals. Lisa is a great guide and her love for them shows. Sakura Bistro served up another round of delicious meals! Bees & BBQ are Friday!

TMR Rescue made the The Texas Bucket List for a reason! This place does a lot of good for donkeys, horses, and mules. Note for tomorrow, bring more carrots! Lunch at Sakura Bistro in Magnolia was so delicious! What will I get tomorrow?? There is an empty spot on the bus, but we leave at 7:45am.

The third and final day at Space Center Houston was wetter than the rest! Thank goodness for the trash bag roll on the bus!😆 Everyone still had a wonderful time. Artemis and spacewear were today’s focus. Three trips and I still didn’t see everything. We all came back with a greater appreciation for the Space Program!
