*******Torrington Police Investigation********

On 3/15/22 at approximately 10:20 AM Torrington Police responded to a reported bank robbery at Union Savings Bank (1057 Torringford St)

Upon arrival it was determined a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black baggy sweat pants, a blue medical mask, and dark sun glasses entered the bank demanding money from the teller. The teller complied and the white male fled from the scene. No injuries were reported on scene. The total amount of the loss is pending.
Based on the investigation thus far, the male suspect is estimated to be in his mid to late 20's, 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was also found to be in the possession of backpack which was observed as he was leaving.
The male left the scene immediately after fleeing the bank in a 2014-2016 Granite Crystal Gray (Dark colored gray) Jeep Cherokee.
The above photos are still images of the aforementioned vehicle and suspect. We understand that the males face is covered, but the jacket is unique, and someone reading this knows this man. Anyone with information may contact the Torrington Police Department P #860-489-2007, and request to speak with Ofc. Segui. Emails can also be sent to Ofc. Segui at [email protected]
