This Labor Day weekend, I want to shout out and honor the truck drivers that spend their days and nights driving up and down the hot or icy pavement, away from their families, paying for expensive diesel fuel, to bring us the things we need to live this good life we have been so blessed to live. Must be 23 yrs old
Must have 2 yrs of Class A driving experience in the last 5 yrs

Able to pass a DOT Drug Test
Home Daily 99% of the time.

Universal, Inc. in Trinidad CO is hiring for Class A CDL Drivers to transport gasoline, diesel fuel and propane.

Home most nights.
Position is full time.

Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations
Must be capable of analyzing and understanding government rules and regulations
Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
Must be able to use electronic Logs through an app on your mobile device
Must understand and use digital displays at the loading racks and customer sites
Prefer knowledge and understanding of the operation of tankers
Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry a plus

Qualifications:
Current Class A CDL
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement preferred
We will aid in acquiring endorsements for the right candidate.
2 years driving experience in a Class A vehicle in the past 5 years.

Universal, Inc. transports petroleum products and propane gas.

2 yrs of Class A driving experience in the past 5 yrs is required.

Must be at least 23 yrs of age.

Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements are required, but if you do not have the Hazmat at the time of hire, Universal is willing to train the right driver while he is waiting to get his Hazmat endorsement.

Universal, Inc. is currently hiring for a full time Heavy Duty Fleet Maintenance Technician. You must have knowledge of how to properly perform maintenance on a vehicle and perform minor mechanical repairs. Other duties will include: changing tires, repairing tires, changing brakes, replacing wheel seals, along with other minor truck repairs. Our fleet includes Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks along with various types of trailers. You will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. with occasional weekends and evenings.
We offer competitive hourly wages based on experience. $15.00-$22.00 per hour
