I-80 is closed westbound at the Nevada State Line due to multiple collisions on Donner Summit.

*Locals with valid ID are being let through.

Chain Control:

I-80 is R2 Truckee to Nyack in both directions.

Trucks are Maximum.

SR-89 is R2 Picketts Junction to US-50.
R1 Bliss State Park to I-80.
R1 Truckee to Sierraville.
*Emerald Bay is Closed.

SR-28 is R2 Tahoe City to the Nevada State line.

SR-267 is R2 Truckee to Kings Beach.

US-50 is R2 Twin Bridges to Meyers.

SR-88 is closed Picketts to Kirkwood.
Closed Kirkwood to Silver Lake.

SR-20 is R2 Bear Valley to I-80.

Just in case anyone was wondering why Old Highway 40 (Donner Pass Rd between Truckee and Sugar Bowl) has been closed this morning.

Well that would be this guy! Remember Old 40 is not a viable option for commercial vehicles or to avoid chain control.

Also due to high traffic volumes on this holiday travel day, westbound trucks are currently being turned at the Nevada State Line.

SR-267 is R2 Kings Beach to Northstar.
*cable chains prohibited.

SR-88 is R2 Iron mountain to Picketts Junction.
R1 Picketts Junction to Crystal Springs.

US-50 is R2 Twin Bridges to Meyers.

SR-20 is R2 Bear Valley to I-80.
*eastbound is now closed in Nevada City due to multiple spin outs.
