Half a mile from solid ground, stuck in the mud, and running out of people to call.

This Jeep owner had already been turned down because the rain had made the trail too soft for a tow truck or wrecker to reach him.

Our 4x4 Toyota Tundra recovery truck was made for jobs like this. We reached the Jeep and got it back to solid ground without a problem. A little mud came home with us, though.

Moving day doesn't always go as planned, and sometimes the truck that's supposed to haul everything is the one that needs hauling.

That's exactly what happened this week when a blue pickup needed a lift off a quiet South Tulsa street near 58th. The owner had a rental truck loaded and ready, but the pickup wasn't going anywhere on its own.
