Budget Box History
Jay Williams formed Allied Container Sales, LLC and began operations on Aug 1, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. Allied was primarily a Storage Container sales company. On July 1, 2011 Allied purchased a local Storage Container rental company, Budget Box, which had been serving Tulsa since 2004. The combined companies began operating under the trade name, Budget Box Mobile Storage, and served Tulsa’s needs for Storage Container purchases and rentals.
In 2015, Budget Box Mobile Storage purchased Container Sales and Rentals (CSR) of Grove, OK from Jay’s parents, Don and Chris Williams. CSR had been selling and renting storage containers in Northeast Oklahoma since 1999. The CSR location was moved to Joplin, MO later that year and also operates as Budget Box Mobile Storage.
As of June 2018, There are five Budget Box Mobile Storage locations, Tulsa, Joplin, McAlester, Kansas City and St Louis. We continue to grow year after year, and word of mouth continues to be the primary driver of our “same store” year to year growth. We’ve found that treating people fairly and doing what you say you’ll do, when you say you’ll do it begets loyal customers.
Jay Williams presently serves on the Board of the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA), and is involved in the Container Industry on a National and International scale.
