They say time heals all wounds. Itโs been 25 years, and the tragedy of September 11, 2001, still cuts deep for America. We are still soaking it all in after last week's community tributes.
From hundreds of American flags displayed throughout our community to high school football game tributes, the Bands on the Bridge Flag Walk, "In Their Shoes" Memorial 5K race, and the 9/11 community tribute itself, the Magic Valley once again showed what it means to . ๐๏ธ
What an honor it is to be part of a community that continues to come together year after year to remember those whose lives were forever changed by that dayโand to honor the many service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the years that followed. ๐๏ธโค๏ธ
We were especially honored to witness the unfurling of The Patriot alongside a retired FDNY Battalion Commander who responded to the call that day. Our owners, Greg and Shawna, had the privilege of welcoming him back to the community after his tribute flight with Air St. Lukeโs. ๐
We are proud to continue supporting our communityโs efforts to keep this tradition alive, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to every person who gives their time, energy, and dedication to bringing these tributes to life. ๐
Catch this breathtaking view before The Patriot is carefully retrieved early Saturday morning.
