Mr. Mike will be back in the cockpit of the Talarzyk Racing 2.5L Hydroplane this weekend June 20th & 21st 2026 in Celina, Ohio.

Races will start around 10 am on Saturday and Sunday and run until we go thru all the boats. Expecting over 60 boats to be here racing so could last until 6pm. The unlimited boat will run twice on Saturday so will be out that before noon and later in the afternoon.

Just like when fixing a bus sometimes the parts are hard to find locally and have to be special ordered.

We are done for the weekend here at Hardy’s Race for the Lake in Decatur, Illinois. We unfortunately had a shaft stuffing seal go bad and don’t have another on hand and is has to be special ordered (not sold in stores) So, we will instead just enjoy our day here at the races and take it home and fix to race again another day.

Attention All Drivers: It’s Annual Safety Training Time!

For those that don’t know School Bus Drivers have to take an annual safety training class to be able to drive year after year. This is in addition to maintaining our CDL License and DOT Physical which are also requirements to drive a school bus.
It’s all to ensure your students are in the safest of hands! 🙌
