Briefcase #2 is completed. All bison body, pocket and flap. Darl brown English Bridle straps, handle and closures. Gusset is dyed to match veg tan Live Oak 3/4oz from Traditions Leathercraft LLC. Antique copper buckles and rivets. Hardware is Tandy, but all other leather is from Maker's Leather Supply. I still loathe and despise gussests! 🤨😬😢🙂

Got done at 2am. This new shelving unit, according to the book, is supposed to be a 1 person job and take 20-30 minutes to assemble. It took me 30+ minutes just to assemble one end of the thing!
I needed a heavier duty, more stable shelf system for all my leather. The heavy duty plastic one was just about to bow in half. Lol. This should be good for a while.
To all the leather supply stores staff that are on my friends list... if you see me on a live sale... tell me to kick rocks and go make some stuff with the pile of leather that I've accumulated over the past year! Seriously, I definitely do not need more leather for a while. I gotta get busy making.

I finally finished up the Chuck Dorsett/Weaver Leather Supply old frontier style/mountain man/native inspired rifle sleeve. Its constructed of an elk split in 3.5-4oz weight. Fringe is the natural edge of the hide. Running stitched together with deertan lace. The flap closure is a large deer antler button. Its adorned with light blue turquoise colored glass Crow style beads & copper beads.
