Locally owned Vancouver trucking corporation is looking for a Class A CDL driver. We pride ourselves in customer service and communication. Our drivers are the face of our company and the key to our success.

Position Summary:

* Responsible for delivering product to our customers (locally and regionally in Oregon and Washington). Our service area is the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Eugene with a main focus in the Portland Metro area.

* The driver will be responsible for driving a designated truck and trailer(s) for product delivery and pickups. This will include loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner and ability to pull a 53', 48' or 28' dry van.

* Ensure all required paperwork (i.e. certification, logs) is completed and in compliance with the company and government regulations.

* Must adhere to all the company safety policies and procedures.

* Haz-Mat Endorsement is NOT required.

* Monday through Friday work schedule.

* Daytime work hours... home every night!

Physical Demands:

* May require a combination of sitting, standing and walking. Driver may also be required to lift up to 75 pounds or more as needed using a hand truck or pallet jack.

Requirement/Skills:

* Must possess a valid driver's license and current Medical Card

* CDL Class A endorsement is required with air brake and combination endorsements

* Ability to effectively work with others

* Positive communication, organizational and good customer service skills

* Upon eligibility, benefits will include Medical and Dental coverage, paid vacation, paid holidays and a retirement match. We appreciate that your time is valuable, so we pay overtime after 8 hours worked each day.

COVID-19 Considerations:

We provide our drivers with masks, hand sanitizer and gloves while also encouraging social distancing.

ABC Transfer is doing everything in its power to keep our drivers safe during the coronavirus. Because we are supplying to food chains, first aid chains, contractors, HVAC, etc., we are still keeping our drivers on the road. We are taking all precautions and supplying them with self cleaning products, gloves, etc. We take this very seriously and are hoping that all other businesses are going to do OK during this. We are hoping that everybody is taking precautions during this time as we are.

Every year we donate two trucks and drivers to the Vancouver Walk and Knock. This year, Brian and Fernando jumped at the occasion and helped! Thank you guys for all that you do!
