When courts start examining whether brokers ignored safety warning signs in the rush to cover a load, "we were moving fast" isn't going to be a compelling defense.
The brokers who survive the next decade will not be the ones who covered freight the fastest. They will be the ones who built the safest, cleanest, most defensible carrier networks.
That's not what some people want to hear. But it's where this industry is heading.
