International Roadcheck is here. May 12–14.
For 72 hours, inspectors across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico will be conducting Level I inspections at weigh stations, checkpoints, and pop-up sites. This year's focus areas: ELD records and cargo securement.
A few reminders for the drivers out there this week:
👉 Walk it before you drive it. Lights, tires, brakes, coupling, straps & chains. Two minutes at the yard beats two hours on the shoulder.
👉Know your logs. Inspectors are looking hard at ELD entries this year. If something looks off in your record of duty status, fix it before someone else flags it.
👉Have your paperwork ready. CDL, medical card, registration, BOL. Keep it in one place.
👉Secure the load. Every strap, every chain, every dunnage piece.
To our drivers and owner-operators: thank you for the work you do every day. A clean inspection earns a CVSA decal and keeps freight moving for the customers counting on us.
