Rides are 24/7. Customer service hours are 8AM to 10PM. Between 10PM and 8AM, customers MUST call and leave a voicemail or a text for an immediate ride during night hours. Please include all details of your trip in a voicemail or text, such as pick up and drop off addresses.
This policy is in place to screen contact after 10PM because dispatch must sleep to be ready for rides for at night. Customer service questions can wait until day time hours.

Despite a decline in incidents, harassment remains a concern that warrants reiterating the gravity of our respect policy. Given the inherent dangers associated with this job, I was taken aback by the reaction of several customers following my accident, who directed their frustration towards me regarding my inability to drive. It should be self-evident that expressing disrespect towards management due to operational constraints will not be tolerated, and such behavior will result in automatic termination of services with our company. Regrettably, I've encountered this behavior with a frequency of roughly once or twice weekly, which necessitates a public clarification that such conduct is unacceptable and will be addressed accordingly. We will continue to enforce this policy stringently, including banning individuals who fail to adhere to these expectations.

We have decided to adopt a fuel surcharge that can fluctuate with the gas prices. This feature will roll out with the app. This price increase won’t affect Washington rates like long distance fares, and will keep driver wages stable. For example, in town rides may see fares increase by pennies while longer trips over 30 miles will increase by a few dollars. Choosing this format will lower prices back down when fuel prices decrease to achieve a fare rate depending on the local market.

Due to gas prices increasing, there will be small adjustments to discount fares depending on the type of travel. For example, the airport discount for round trip arrival/departure will increase from $130 total to $150 total when traveling from Washington, IA to CID Airport, and back to Washington. Booking as a round trip still saves $20 vs booking individual CID rides. These increases are directly related to the cost of gas doubling since opening in 2025. Every penny becomes gas in the tank. Thank you for understanding.
If gas continues to climb, fare structure may change. Currently, fares depend on zones traveled and we hope to stay that way to offer the lowest prices in the City of Washington.

(Changing fares do not effect currently booked prices. Old fares will be honored for those who booked in advance.)

24/7 service resuming the end of May. Please leave a voicemail or text if I do not answer the phone in the mean time. Reserving trips in advance is still recommended until staff training ends in June.

With my accident there have been random closures due to low staff. We hired someone new this week and have another hiree in 2 weeks. We should be operating 24/7/365 by June 1st with the new app.
I apologize for the closures.

A new business based in a small town has it’s ups and downs. One down side being that qualified staff can be hard to find. That said, we are looking for a 5th driver that can fill in random gaps/be a back up driver. If you have free time most of the time, this would be a position to think about.

Phones went into SOS mode this week, which means customers need to call if I do not respond to texts. My wifi calling is always on, but texts are received depending how they were sent.
The app will fix this issue when we don’t have to rely on cell service anymore.
The app has to be approved by Apple, then we will release it. Google Playstore has approved and is being finalized.
