My fellow CEOs and leaders always ask me about my most effective hacks or cheat codes these days. They are never surprised when I reply that the biggest cheat code for growth isn’t a new app, a fancy planner, ChatGPT, or some secret strategy. It will always be facing hard truths about ourselves.
As we enter this new year, challenge yourself to admit the things you’ve been avoiding. Nobody else needs to know what they are, but you do.
I’ve learned that most of the problems I struggled with came down to one thing: avoiding responsibility for my shortcomings. The moment I stopped making excuses and started owning my flaws, everything changed.
We are only four weeks into the new year. If you really want to hack your life, start with accountability. It’s uncomfortable, and it hurts. But it’s unavoidable if you want to achieve any real success in your spiritual, personal, or professional life.
Have a great week ahead!
